    Dear Maria,

I wanted so much to be there at Dave’s service. Please know that my thoughts and prayers have been and continue to be with you. When I think of Dave, the image I have is that of a smiling face and a ready laugh. He truly enjoyed life and the people around him, and that is saying quite alot.

My sincerest condolences in this difficult time,
    Kathy

    Sweet,Sweet, Maria,

I would do anything to still be with you!!!!!
You did a wonderful job planning the service when you was under so much heartache.I know David was watching and was very pleased with everything!!
I Wish I hadn’t of choked when I tried speaking at the reception. I would of mentioned…How David invited Tom and I to Vegas and you both stood up with us at the wedding.
When Steve, Kathy and Tom all got together and were talking about growing up with David and How he always watched out for his younger brothers. He helped Tom out of a few scrapes back then.
Even though he lived in California,he always watched out for all of us back home..ALWAYS!!!!!
I also wanted to say I feel he was with us all at that reception.I looked out that window and believe he and his father were sitting up against one of those palm trees, on that beautiful golf course hands behind thier heads watching us all.
He will always be with you Sweet Maria. As is your family back home.
    …. I love you!!! HOLLY

  3. Maria – I was sorry to hear of David”s passing. I was a classmate of his. There are no words to make your sorrow easier, but maybe knowing other’s thoughts are with you might lesson the load on you. He had such good humor and a wonderful smile.Be assured he is in good hands and looking down on you every day.

  4. Dear Maria,

I met Dave 2 years ago at Taco Rosa & we became friends. He always talked about how how lucky he was to have such beautiful & wonderful wife. I know he adored you. He was such a funny, kind & generous person. I gave my sister a surprise party last summer & Dave was there but I didn’t seen him & the waitress came over to our table with a very nice bottle of champagne in an ice bucket with several tulip glasses & we told her she had the wrong table & she pointed at Dave sitting on the patio. It made our night! We tried to get him to come over & have a glass with our group but he was content where he was. He was a humble man who truly enjoyed making others happy & I know he will be greatly missed by the many many people who were lucky enough to have known him. I extend my deepest condolences to you & your family & I am so sorry for your loss.
