IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dave Edward
Hilario
September 14, 1983 – March 13, 2024
Dave Hilario was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and dear friend who held no limitations on how to live life.
He kept people rolling in laughter because he could find humor in the most mundane life circumstances and no matter the adversity, he always kept his cool. He unapologetically called himself “FBP” – the Filipino Brad Pitt where much of his “deliberately single life” was filled with adventures gallivanting from Manhattan to Montreal, Tel-Aviv, and Paris.
Beyond his bachelor life, Dave’s work ethic was second to none- as a financial analyst with nearly 2 decades in the health care industry, Dave’s professional career flourished at Hospital of Special Surgery (HSS), as Associate Director of Finance.
Outside of work, Dave was an adamant dog lover, E-bike enthusiast, One-legged Skateboard savant, “not-so-pro” beach volleyball player and devoted minimalist where he always wore solid white tees while enjoying his penchant for Thom Browne suits.
Dave’s most meaningful relationships originated in Queens, New York having his own band of “Goonies” with over 26 years of friendship. Anyone else might have settled down, but Dave’s life curiosity for more led him to Austin, Texas where the once former rapper known as h20 developed a love and new-found rhythm for country music.
Dave had a passionate love for his independence, and regularly cheered for the New York Giants and was a long-loyal fan of Wrestling. He is survived by his loving parents, Lourdes & Danilo; his brother, whom he always called “Donald”, his “sis” Heather, his nieces, Raylee & Kyla, God-children Tristan and Rayne and the best wingman he ever had, his dog, Mojo.
