Darlene Gayle (Jacobson) Matthey, born in Fargo, North Dakota on July 6 ^th , 1934, went peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on August 31 ^st , 2018 at the age of 84.  She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Leslie Thomas Matthey, sister Donna (Jacobson) Johnson, daughter Cindy (Matthey) Wallwork, son David Thomas Matthey, son-in-law John Wallwork, daughter-in-law Julia (Prager) Matthey, grandchildren Jake, Edika, and Susanna Wallwork, and Ryan, Eric, Adam, and Lily Matthey, niece Dawn Brunink, and nephew Erik Johnson.  Darlene is the daughter of Olaf Jacobson and Minnie Halderson of Minnesota.

Darlene's commitment in life was bringing up her children and grandchildren with a living faith in our Heavenly Father.  Darlene volunteered as the leader of the children's program for Bible Study Fellowship for 45 years, bringing each of her seven grandchildren through the two-year program.  She will be missed by so many here on earth, but was welcomed by so many in Heaven.
