Dante Gonnella, 94, a 44-year resident of Fountain Valley, was born May 19, 1917 and passed away March 4, 2012 in Mission Viejo, CA.
A retired Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years; Dante was a command pilot who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 75-years, Jewell Gonnella; daughter Donna Anderson and her husband Edward; grandson James Wood; granddaughter Kellie Albrecht and her husband Steve; great-grandsons Tanner and Conner (twins), and great-granddaughters Karly and Lexi.
