Obituary
Danielle Nicole Grady was born on August 28, 1985 in Schenectady, New York. She was a loving and beloved daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, and fiancé. She passed away unexpectedly at the age of 26.
Danielle spent a wonderful childhood in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Irvine, California, where she was active in soccer, student organizations, and her community. After graduating from Northwood High School in 2003, she attended the University of Arizona, where she majored in business and was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority.
Over the last five years, Danielle developed a career at Target, where she was an Executive Team Leader and Human Resources manager. Danielle loved working at Target, and even met her fiancé there.
Danielle will be remembered for her sparkling blue eyes, infectious smile, rosy cheeks, and warm personality.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Donna Grady of Canyon Lake, CA; her sister, Jennifer Grady of Los Angeles, CA; her fiancé, Joe Soraci of Coto de Caza, CA; her grandmother, Ruth Grady of Mt. Pocono, PA; her aunts, uncles, and their families: Bettyann and Louis DeNaples of Moscow, PA; JoAnn Bordi of Dunmore, PA; Rita and Pat Shevlin of Charlotte, NC; Michelle and Tom Boyer of Long Island, NY; Tricia Weber-Patterson of Clarks Summit, PA; Mary Grady of Missoula, MT; Ann Pelicci of Waverly, PA; Joan Hook of Kunkeltown, PA; her uncles, John Grady of Dallas, TX; Richard Grady of Scotrun, PA; and Peter and Vicky Bordi of State College, PA; and many loving first and second cousins and friends. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
Funeral services will take place at Mariners Church in Irvine, CA on Saturday, July 14. A viewing will take place in the Chapel from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the service will begin at 12:30 in the Community Center.

My heart is aching. I lost a Target family member who had the biggest heart and greatest smile. Her compassion for people is indescribable. Her sweet, soft voice was comforting. Target store 250 will never be the same. I will continue to shed tears of sadness and yet smile knowing she would be smiling. I will forever be thankful for the time she was in my life. Tim and I are so sad to hear about Danielle’s passing. Tim has such wonderful memories of Danielle’s NHS senior prom they went to. She looked so beautiful that night in her yellow gown and from the pictures shown here she grew into an even more beautiful woman. We send our thoughts and prayers to your family.
