   While I’ve probably known Dan as short a period as anyone acknowledging him today, I’ll hold dear the many laughs we had together. Most I’ll remember the laughs we had at Dan’s expense. Dan was great at finding and sharing the humor that came as a result of Dan’s living every day to its’ fullest. Walking in his shoes daily required the skill and deftness of a tight rope walker at the peak of the circus tent.

   He was truly the master of cramming 40 or 50 hours into a 24 hour day, with any number of appointments, meetings, crisscrossing each other.
   Last, I know no one who could laugh more enthusiasticly about his own foibles. Comparing Dan to that proverbial water glass, Dan never lived half empty but clearly much more that half full.

   We’ll miss you Dan.

   Dan was a wonderful friend. My association with him started as a business relationship, and easily evolved into a warm friendhip. Dan always had time to spend with me, even on short notice. I will miss him as so many will.
