CURTIS WARREN LATTIME  7-16-1929 TO 10-08-2008
 
Curtis ‘Curt’ was born in Medford, Mass., having three siblings, Barbara, Phyllis and Richard. After graduating from Medford High School, he enlisted into the U.S. Army. After the Army he attended the Bentley School of Accounting & Finance and graduated with honors. Curt met his wife, Gail, while they were both employed at Mass. Bonding Insurance Co., in Boston Massachusetts and were married in May of 1959.They moved to Manhattan Beach, California in 1960, where their son Russell Steven was born in 1964.In 1966 their 2nd son, Douglas Carl was born shortly after moving to Northridge California.  Curt enjoyed a successful career in the Computer Systems Analysis field within the University of California system starting out at UCLA for 12 years and then transferring to the UC Irvine campus when he moved the family to Mission Viejo in 1977. In 1980 Curt left his job at UC Irvine to explore a more entrepreneurial career and worked with his brother-in-law Stu Phillips at Phillips Components & SC Molding Co. until 1995 when he retired at age 68.
Curt was a wonderful husband and very involved dad to his sons.  Curt was a two time cancer survivor and always maintained a God-centered focus in his life. Curt and Gail were in their 50th year of marriage.   Curt is survived by his sister Barbara, his brother Richard, his wife Gail, two sons, Russ and Doug and 7 grandchildren.
