Courtland Richard Braden, born on November 16, 1932, in Elliott, Iowa, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in San Juan Capistrano, California. He was the youngest of three children born to Clifford Braden and Margaret Smith. His beloved sisters, Betty and Barbara, preceded him in death.

On April 17, 1952, Courtland married Janet Braden, the love of his life. Together they shared a devoted partnership and built a family filled with love and cherished memories. A proud veteran, Courtland served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for 28 years, including two tours in Vietnam. His dedication to both his family and his nation will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his devoted wife Janet; their two children, Terry and Cindy; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Courtland's legacy lives on through the family he adored and the many lives he touched with his kindness and service.

A service to honor Courtland's life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at South Coast Christian Church, located at 31501 Avenida Los Cerritos, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.
