Dear Witzel family,
Corey was a very passionate young man who always cared about others. Corey was not only a friend but a nieghbor of mine for a very long time in Laguna Niguel. He and I had pizza nights back during high school days, he always knew the best jokes and could always make me laugh. What more do I say other then he will never be forgotten. I enjoyed all the great deep talks we had and all the memorable times we shared as the best of friends. What an amazing soul.Rest in peace.
With deepest thoughts and prayers,
Lauren O.

Dear Witzel Family,
We have such wonderful memories of Corey and his caring nature and bright smile at St. Catherine’s. He babysat for our three sons often and he would always joke with me that they were a piece of cake to watch, especially since he was used to a pack of 3 boys. Dylan, Matthew and Elias adored him, and he was always so polite to Mark and me. I smile now at the memory of a daycare room, with chairs pushed against the wall and kids gathered around to watch Corey’s latest dance moves, as he “cut a rug” to the CDs. Our deepest sympathy for your loss. May fond memories comfort you at this difficult time.

Corey was a great friend and really good at handball. We had many fun times together at daycare.
I am sure that he is watching over you. I will miss him.
Sincerely,
Adam Russell
