Bronn, Clyde L.

A dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Clyde was a distinguished World War II Navy pilot, earning 2 Navy Crosses, 3 Air Medals, and 2 Presidential Unit Citations. He served on the U.S.S. Lexington and Randolph.

Clyde graduated USC Law and was an attorney in Long Beach, CA for more than 40 years. He was very involved in the community having served as president of the Long Beach Bar Association, the YMCA of Greater Long Beach, and the Rotary Club of Long Beach. He married Geraldine ‘Jim’ Heckman deceased in 1942. They enjoyed 64 years together.

Clyde is survived by his 2 daughters, Sandy Westra Kraig and Cheryl Moore Mac; 2 grandsons, David Westra Susan and Rob Westra Sally; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Geneva Presbyterian Church, 24301 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92637.
