Clyde E. Gaier passed away June 6, 2022 at his home in Mission Viejo Ca. at age 90.  Clyde was born to Carl E. and Florence Killer Gaier, November 24, 1931 in Columbus IN.  He went to a one room school there, then went on to graduate from Columbus High School.  He married Rosemary Hammond in Columbus IN on November 10th 1951.  She passed June 10th 2020.

Clyde is survived by one daughter and tow sons.  Janet Gaier, Dennis Gaier and his wife Vonda, two step grand daughters and six great grandkids. Dana Gaier and wife Rachel, two grandkids Daniel and Joshua.  One B=brother Claude Gaier and wife Lucille, two sisters Georgia Threlkeld and husband Harold,  and Norma Claney and numerous nieces and nephews.

He also served U.S. 7th Division 32nd Infantry Regiment, K Company in Korea War, 1952 – 1953.  Member of Freemason in Anderson, IN.   Retired from General Motors after 38 yrs of service and retired from Saddleback  College of 20 years of service.

Dad loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, water skiing, scuba diving, photography, gardening, and wood working.  worked hard to give his best for those he cared for family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, he touched more than he knows.
