Potter, Clifford U., 84, of Santa Ana, CA, a lifetime resident of Orange County. He was born on September 20, 1922 in Orange, CA, and he passed away on Friday, November 17, 2006, after a lengthy illness.

Cliff graduated from Orange High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He Retired from Case-Swayne Co., Inc. after 27 years. He was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, the Orange County Boating Club, and the U.S. and Santana Power Squadrons.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, of 58 years, his son, James Potter, of Yorba Linda, his daughter, Mary Marshall, of Corona, and his brother, Elmer E. Potter. Cliff is also survived by his five grandchildren, Jeremy, Corrie, Justin, Hayley and Stacy, along with six great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 7:00pm to 9:00 PM at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA.

Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 ~ 10:00 AM at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA with a graveside service to follow at El Toro Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Forest, CA.
