He returned to Grand Forks, where he attended the University of North Dakota. While there, he enlisted in the US Air Force Reserve, and kept that assignment until retiring with the rank of Lt. In 1964, Cal and his family moved to California and in 1966 the new community of Mission Viejo became home for the nest 57 years. Life will not be the same without him with us, but we know he has gone on to a better place. He was loved and will be missed.
