Obituary
Christine Margaret Berry passed away to be with God on Friday, February 10th at 5:00 pm after a long illness.
Originally from Toronto and a true Scot at heart, she had lived in the Southern California area since 1980. Always active in the Presbyterian Church, she was a member of Laguna Niguel Presbyterian Church until her death.
She sang in the choir, volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels among many other charitable organizations, taught Sunday School and kept the financial records for her church throughout her life. Chris was a voracious reader, a Fox News junkie, a crossword puzzle solver and in her younger years, she enjoyed Scottish Country Dancing. She also worked as a talented bookkeeper for many years. With her husband of 66 years, Ed, who predeceased her, she travelled all over the world and enjoyed learning about new cultures. She loved opera, ballet, musical theater and her beloved Scottish heritage.
She loved her family most of all and left behind three daughters, Linda Parker Knisely, Patricia Elizabeth Baker and Louise Christine Legg as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She had a loving, kind and compassionate soul and never wanted to make a fuss. She demanded little and gave much. She was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be forever missed and greatly loved.
Services will be held at the Presbyterian Church of the Master, 26051 Marguerite Parkway Mission Viejo, CA 92692 on March 4th, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
