Chris was one of the most caring, giving, loving men and was greatly cherished by all his family and friends. Chris was known as a noble man and led his entire life with pride and dignity. He was born in Brooklyn, NY July 28, 1940. Following high school in 1962, Chris enlisted in the United States Army, and retired as Major in 1968. During that time he served two terms in Vietnam. Following his service, Chris started a successful business based out of Laguna Hills, CA in the steel industry and through his 30 years in the business Chris built many strong partnerships and friendships and earned the reputation as the go to person for anyone wanting to break into the business because of all of his knowledge and network. Chris loved his work and one of his greatest desires was to work all the way to the end. Unfortunately in the last few years he was forced to retire due to health reasons. Besides being a successful business man, Chris was known as the best host ever! You didn’t have to be in a room long without Chris offering you a drink. Chris will be deeply missed.

I have so many great memories with Chris. It didn’t take long for Chris to become “POPS” to me. And i called him Pop’s every time i talked with him. I admire you Chris and will miss you so much. A great role model, Chris was always genuine and generous. Thank you Chris for the impact you’ve had on all who were fortunate enough to know you. From the great conversations, the beach, the mountains and all the laughs we shared together rest in peace Pop’s. I love you

I only knew Chris for a little over a year. He was my patient and I spent time with him discussing how he felt and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. During those visits we discussed many things, we talked about politics, people, life in general and his experiences along with mine. Many times we laughed uncontrollably both of us enjoying our discussions. I will miss Chris, we became friends and I hope he is now at peace and in the home of his maker.

  3. I am so happy to have know sweet little Chris. He was so good to us, always. I used to have great conversations with him particularly about politics and work. I always respected his opinion and insight. I loved how Chris’ opinion mattered so much and although he may have been less outspoken than most, when he spoke, everyone listened. I miss that time with him a lot. I am forever grateful to have had him in my life and will love him always.
