Cheryl "Charlie" Brooks was born on November 7, 1948, in Red Bank, New Jersey. Her father was Lawrence L Brooks, and her mother was Isabel "Sandy" Brooks.

She has a surviving sister, Janet Brooks, and her niece, Lauren Brown, and three nephews Brandon, Jonathan, and Dillon, all residing in Northern Virginia. Cheryl is also survived by her 27-year partner in life, Richard Nippert.

Cheryl's career was in property management until her retirement at age 67. Cheryl and Richard resided at San Juan Capistrano, California.

On (Date to be determined), please join the family and other friends of Cheryl "Charlie" and Richard as we fulfill her wishes to have her ashes strewn out into the sea. Dana Point Harbor is where Cher, Richard and friends spent many happy hours together. Afterwards join in a Celebration of Life meal at the Wind and Sea Restaurant, Dana Point.
