Cheryl Ann Boden
April 28, 1956 – February 8, 2024

Cheryl Ann Boden (Moore), 67, of Lake Forest, California, passed away in her sleep on February 8, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1956, to Shirley Ann Moore (Irgens) and Harold D Moore in Long Beach. The third of four children, she grew up in Buena Park, attending Calder Junior High and Buena Park High School, where she made lifelong friends. Cheryl studied Psychology at California State University Fullerton, receiving a bachelor’s degree in 1978. She made a career in the insurance industry, retiring in June 2022, as a Senior Account Manager.

Cheryl, affectionately known as “Aunt CC,” was an adoring aunt to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and loved to “spoil them rotten.” She enjoyed quilting and sewing, making many Halloween costumes over the years as well as her signature “quillows.” She also made baby blankets for her many friends’ children and held every baby she could – she loved kids! Cheryl traveled often, taking trips around the country to visit family and friends. She was an avid collector and was always looking for a bargain. She loved cooking and everyone looked forward to her “cheesy potatoes” at Christmas celebrations.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her siblings Jeri Gail Stewart (Moore), Donna Jean Goodwin (Moore), and Mark Craig Moore.

She will be remembered for always being there in a time of need. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.
