Charline Karen Fredericka Grundmann was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harold and Thelma Stofer. She was the first in her family to attend college and was a proud graduate of Purdue University. She married John Grundmann in 1977 and together they moved to California.

She will be remembered for her passion for family history and sewing as well as her love for her family and friends. She was an avid fan of collegiate sports (Purdue) and major league baseball (Angels). She was an active member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her husband John and daughter Christina Morgan (Nickolas). She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma (1990) and father Harold (2001).

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her name to the American Lung Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
