Vogel, Charles Arthur passed away peacefully September 19, 2013. He was born December 6, 1929 in Meade, Kansas. He was a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania.

He entered the USAF Pilot Training Program in 1952, eventually earning pilot wings and was on active duty through 1957. He stayed with the USAF Reserve until 1972, ending with the rank of Major.

He married Pat in 1955 at March AFB Chapel. Eventually opened a retail store called Treasure House of California.

Charles is survived by wife Pat; son Curtis (wife Debra); daughter Cristy (husband Steven); three grandsons, Lee, Austin and Evan; and one great-granddaughter, Sophie Marie.

Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills followed by burial at 2:15pm at Riverside National Cemetery.
