Obituary

Charles Q. Early passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday morning on March 13, 2016.

Charles was born February 18, 1941 in Norborne, Missouri to Martha and Merlin Early. Charles graduated from Woodbury College in 1960. He worked in the mortgage banking business for 45 years and retired on March 31, 2008.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Bonnie and their three children, daughter, Kelly Altringer, (Russell) of Rancho Santa Margarita, daughter, Jamie Machado, (Justin) Cardiff by the Sea, son Chad Early (Tiffany) Traduce Canyon and sister Judith Bonar of Ruskin, Fl. Charles’ pride and joy has been his six grandchildren, Trevor Chilton, Camryn and Austin Machado, Kiley, Caden and Casten (CQ) Early.

Charles will be remembered for his unconditional and dedicated love for his family. He always had the willingness to lend a hand at a moments notice. He would literally give you the shirt off his back if he had to. Charles was a great listener, he was genuine, kind hearted, and generous.

Celebration of Life will be conducted at Norman P. Murray Senior Center, Mission Viejo, CA, Monday, March 21, 2016 at 2:30pm.

  5. Chuck was such a great guy. I loved talking sports with him. I get the impression that he was quite an athlete, and whenever we got on the topic of all of it, the boy in the man was larger than life. The La Quinta family (which includes the entire neighborhood, not just La Quinta Drive) will miss you dearly, and I personally look forward to the day when we are reunited!!!!
