  2. I sent this virtual memory of Chuck because I’m not able to be at the service for reasons that kelly knows why. I remember meeting Chuck over 29 years ago. I was working with Kelly and she was buying a car from my then husband, Russ and I. Chuck being the fierce father he was wanted to make sure we weren’t giving his daughter a bad deal so I had to take the car to him to look at. I was afraid of him when I first met him until I came to know him later as he remain in our lives to this day when Russ married Kelly many years later. I sat with him talking at my son, Kevin’s wedding and I told him that I now know why he was so fierce when Kelly bought the car from me because I was the same way now. It wasn’t so much fierce I told him, but love. And he laughed and said yes, it was love that makes a parent fierce. He was a good father. He must have been a good father. Look at Jamie, Chad and Kelly. They are examples of being raised by a great man. And look at Bonnie, she is a beautiful and sweet woman. Only a good man deserves such a good woman. And only a good woman deserves such a great man. God bless you Chuck. You were so lucky to have had such a wonderful life full of love, respect and happiness.
