I did not know your father, but I wanted to send my condolences. I am sending you and your family lots of love.

  2. Many fond memories of Uncle Charlie and Aunt Cathy as a child, especially that wonderful vacation at their chalet in the Laurentians. I can never hear Johnny Mathis without thinking of them. Sending my love Charles.

  3. My condolences to your family on the passing of Charley. He lived in the house down the block in Tecumseh. He was a few years younger than I . I saw him last at the 100th anniversary of our parish , St. Anne in Tecumseh. We sat at the same table of former priests from the parish. He made a deep and lasting impression on me. Larry laforet

My condolences to the family on Charles’ passing. I saw some talk above about a chalet in the Laurentians.
It was some 55years ago that Charley took me under his wing suggesting I was too serious about my ministerial devotion in the Diocese of London, and said we were going skiing at Mont Tremblant. And ski we did. It turned out to be at the same time as Pierre Trudeau. What a great time! Charley was a super guy.
