  1. Dee Hsieh says:

In my Father’s house are many Mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may also be. I will always remember Papa as that tall handsome man coming home in his Marine uniform. I love and miss you.
    Happy Birthday and Semper Fidelis

  2. Sweet Papa,
This will be the first time in my lifte that we will spend Father’s Day without you. I miss you so much!
“Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day.
    Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear”
So as we all say goodbye and remember our Father’s life, the man he came to be,
He’d be happiest being remembered by all who knew him as Papa-as a man who loved his family more than anything.

  3. I always thought that Papa was the foundation of our family – the base on which everything else rested.

Going to see Nana & Papa you could be assured that he would be there and that he would be glad to see you. Whether you were returning from running the roads with Nana…. or coming to visit from Virginia, he would be there waiting. I am confident he is waiting for us now.

I wish I had thought to ask him why he used to give us grandchildren a quarter each time we left his house. It’s one of those little memories of him I will always cherish.

Thinking of you on your birthday, and always.

    Love,
    Ky

  4. Friendship is everlasting. I will carry the memories of Chuck’s goodness, kindness, and generosity in my heart forever.
