Obituary

Charles F. Sanders, 76, born 12/22/31 Louisville, KY; died 11/29/08 Laguna Niguel, CA. BS, MA degrees from University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, PhD degree from University of Southern California. Chemical engineer with Esso Research & Engineering, Linden, NJ; professor of engineering at San Fernando Valley State College, later Dean of the School of Engineering & Computer Science at California State University, Northridge formerly SFVSC and in retirement a private consultant. He is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter, Karen Matthew Parks; sons, Craig Caroline Sanders and Keith Linda Sanders; sister-in-law, Mary Sanders; sister-in-law, Carol James Egan; grandchildren, Kirk, Shawna, Marissa Sanders; Sam and Teddy Parks. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 12/06/08 at 12:00 pm at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Laguna Niguel, CA. Burial will be Monday, 12/08/08 at 11:30 am at Riverside National Cemetery. Donations to cureduchenne.org in lieu of flowers, please.

  2. to my family iam so sad about this tragedy but i know he was healed by the man we refer as God and he is with us and free to walk around as he deserves as he is now at peace and in my prayers everyday and he once told me to ” never give up no matter what and one day i will go far” and i will always rember that mom u are an angel dont forget it love Keith

    We offer you our sincere condolences. At the same time, we were remembering all the good times we had together, specially the first party at your home in the Fall of 1974. And all the bridge games we played together.
