Obituary

Chad Underkoffler, beloved husband of wife Lauren and loving father of Guinevere, passed away at age 30 in Lake Forest, California, on January 4, 2011.

Born on April 24, 1980, in Plainfield, New Jersey, he moved to California in 1988. Chad graduated from Laguna Hills High School, attended Vanguard University and received his Associate degree from American Intercontinental University. At the time of his death, Chad was enrolled in the final two courses of his Bachelor’s degree program.

Along with his wife and daughter, Chad is survived by his parents, Denis and Denise Underkoffler of Center Valley, PA; sister Abby of Boston; in-laws Reese and Elaine Castellaw of Lake Forest and grandparents Maynard and Catherine Underkoffler and Catherine Doll of Hellertown, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 10, at 7 p.m. at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to an education fund for Chad’s daughter. Contributions can be made out to and mailed to Curtis Doll at 1819 Flint Hill Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Chad will be laid to rest in the El Toro Memorial Park.
