   Walt: although you don’t know me, I attend church with Dave and Susan in Lancaster. I have been praying for your wife, and will continue to pray for you, that Jesus will give you peace at this time. I lost my husband to cancer about 20 years ago, and found Jesus completely faithful over the years since.

   Walt & family. Cathy was my trainer, my mentor, my friend, and sometimes my partner in crime. It was a blessing to me to be with her during some of her last hours. I know we all feel heartache & miss her dearly, but I know she is happy, comfortable, and loved deeply for eternity. Love to all of you….stay in touch. Hug hug from Erik and Gavin too.

   Walt,

   I am so very sorry for your loss. I sat next to her for almost a year when she was here in Rochester and there wasn’t a day when she wasn’t able to brighten a day… I will always have some very fond memories.

   Dear Walt, I was so frightened when these sad news were transmitted yesterday to me from France to Germany! It must be such a terrible loss for all of you, your children and the grandchildren…, sorry that my English is not better, to express all my feelings of real compassion, but my thoughts will remain with you and your family…
