Catherine Louise Hansen

Catherine Louise Hansen passed away peacefully at her home on September 1, 2025.  Born on April 29, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA, Cathy resided for 51 years in Laguna Beach, CA, where she raised her four children and became "Nana" to twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Catherine had a long and successful career at Dart Container Corporation as a sales executive, retiring after 27 years.  She was known for her professionalism and commitment to her clients and the company.  She held a bachelor's degree from University of California at Irvine.

Catherine was the daughter of William Albert Axline and Margaret Gallenkamp Axline. She is survived by her children, John M. Hansen (Carole), William L. Hansen (Leslye), Jeffery A. Hansen (Lynn), and Candice M. Hansen, as well as her grandchildren, John Michael, Thomas, Caroline, Kyle, Katelyn, Hilary, Austin, Grayson, Wesley, Jacob, and Trent, and great grandchildren, Olivia, Archer, Claire, Raylan, Jaxon and Abel. She is also survived by her brother, William Axline (Donna) and beloved nieces and nephews.  Her sisters, Victoria Teasley and Peggy McClellion, and her grandson, Stephen, preceded her in death.

Cathy enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, making each one feel special.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.  Her smile and wit will be forever remembered and cherished by her family and friends.
