I learned of Kit’s death this morning by way of a phone call from Joan Eldridge. I don’t know why, but I had been thinking about Kit recently, and thinking I would like to catch up with her. We lost touch after i finished my medical training at UC irvine in 1985 and moved to Iowa. I had known Kit since elementary school, and enjoyed her friendship through college and medical school. She was without a doubt one of those rare people who had great integrity and character combined with a joyful, passionate spirit. I am greatly saddened by her tragic death, and extend my condolences to her family. You are all in my prayers.
