Cassandra Jane "Sandi" Freed, age 69, passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on May 30, 2017 after a short battle with stomach cancer. Her husband Dennis, son Tim and daughter Christie were at her bedside in the final moments. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, 2 children – Tim and Christie, son-in-law Jason and 5 grandchildren – Faith, Liberty, Reagan, Chloe and Canin.

Sandi was a faithful and devoted servant of God who loved Jesus with all her heart, soul, mind and strength. She was a member of Saddleback Church, Lake Forest Campus and volunteered her transcription talents on occasion. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, doll making, reading her bible and listening to Christian music. Her greatest joy and treasure were her grandchildren all of whom she cherished and loved with all her heart. Sandi was born in Whittier, CA and grew up in Montebello. She and Dennis have resided in Lake Forest for the past 31 years.

Services will be conducted by Pastor Tom Holladay at Saddleback Church, Tent #2, 1 Saddleback Parkway, Lake Forest, CA 92630 on Thursday, June 8 at 10 am. Interment services will follow immediately at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd., Lake Forest, CA 92630.
