It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Mary Zaremba-Campbell, who left us peacefully on September 14, 2026, just days shy of her 79th birthday. Born on September 20, 1947, in New Jersey, Carolyn lived a life defined by kindness, warmth, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carolyn was the oldest of three children, and throughout her life, she embodied the true essence of sisterhood. She is survived by her loving brothers, Mark and Stan Zaremba, who will cherish her sweet spirit and unwavering support. Carolyn’s heart was generous and open; she had a unique ability to make everyone feel like a valued friend, from close acquaintances to strangers she met on the street. Her smile could brighten anyone’s day, and her thoughtful words offered comfort to those in need.As a dedicated professional, Carolyn excelled in the commercial health, dental, and life insurance industry, serving as an Assistant Vice President at Kelsey National Corporation in LA, traveling nationwide and greatly respected and trusted. While her career took a different path than she initially envisioned, having graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and working as a designer for Vogue and Butterick in NYC, her creativity blossomed in her personal passions. Carolyn loved to cook, frequently honing her culinary skills through classes, and she delighted in hosting gatherings that brought together family and friends.

Although she experienced the profound loss of her beloved husband, Gary Campbell, in 2012, Carolyn's spirit remained resilient. Faith played a significant role in Carolyn’s life; she was a devout Catholic who drew strength from her beliefs, especially during challenging times, including her battles with breast cancer twice, Though she did not have children of her own, Carolyn held a special place in her heart for her three cherished nieces. She nurtured their relationships, often showering them with affection and making them feel special—always ready to spoil them with memorable experiences, from days spent at her oceanfront home in Santa Monica to elegant outings at restaurants like the Jonathan Club. Carolyn cherished holiday gatherings with her family, where love and laughter filled the air.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley Zaremba and Dorothy Zaremba, and deceased nephew Brendan Zaremba and is survived by her two brothers Mark Zaremba and Stanley Zaremba (and wife Chris), her three nieces Chloe Skalski and Alicia Zaremba, Stanley's daughters, and Jennifer Ward, Mark's daughter.

Carolyn’s legacy will continue through the memories we hold dear. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. May she find eternal peace, surrounded by love and light.We invite you to celebrate Carolyn’s life and the love she shared during the following events: a Vigil Service will be held at O'Connor Chapel on October 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church on October 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM, leading into a graveside ceremony at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach, where she will be laid to rest at 2:00 PM.
