Carolyn Marie O’Rourke died peacefully at her home in Tustin CA on Saturday 9/14/19.

She was a beloved aunt, step mother, wife, twin sister and friend. Her humor, kindness and spunk have touched and enhanced many lives.

In the course of her life she had been a school teacher, a performer for our troops, and an addiction counselor, and she recently celebrated 55 years of sobriety. She also enjoyed travelling with her husband, Frank, who passed away in 2011.

We will cherish our memories of Carolyn dancing and singing in the living room at family gatherings, handing out giant bags full of presents at Christmas time, and, of course, her love of shopping. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Her wishes were that we not hold a service for her and that we scatter her ashes at sea.

She is survived by her three nieces, three step-children, and cat Tattoo.
