Carolyn Donna
Murray
March 22, 1944 – March 25, 2016
Carolyn Murray passed away peacefully by her husband’s side to be with the Lord on March 26, 2016, Mission Viejo, CA.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1pm at the O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA.
Carolyn spent her entire life in the service of others. Matthew 25:36-45 says “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
These beautiful verses are a summary of her life. I am sure it is exactly what Jesus told her just a few days ago in person when she arrived at his pearly gates. She was a blessing to all that God sent her way. She knew that her mission in life was to love, teach, and guide everyone God sent to her. She was a wonderful wife and soul mate to her husband Scott and a loving, tender, compassionate mother and grandmother to her children.
She was always an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and had the word of encouragement to up lift your spirit. Her spiritual gifts were almost too abundant to name, faith, compassion, tenderness, kindness, wisdom, knowledge, discernment, patience, physical and spiritual strength, thoughtfulness, but greatest of all was her unconditional love that she shared with everyone she met.
Carolyn is survived by her Husband, Scott Murray; Daughters, Catherine Murray, Elizabeth Murray, Charity Casey, Elicia Casey; Granddaughter Emily Stefani and Son, Tim Alexander.
Carolyn will be greatly missed. But we as a family we KNOW we will see her again soon in heavenly places. And if her heavenly life is anything like her life on this earth, we know she is keeping a loving and watchful eye on us all.
