Carolyn Ann Biscaro, age 71, a resident of Irvine California for over 35 years, lost her battle with cancer Dec. 16, 2018.

Proud to have been born in the Bronx, New York, March 12, 1947 to Pat and Pauline (DelGardo) Cuomo. She is survived by her husband Carlo Biscaro, M.D., two children, Matthew Biscaro and Nina (Dan) Lota, her beloved grandchildren, Dylan, Chase & Riley, her sister Loretta Cahill and her brother Anthony Cuomo.

Carolyn graduated from Mercy College in 1968. She received her Masters in English from Fordham University and was an English teacher for 10 years at Dewitt Clinton, an all boys high school in the Bronx. She was an avid reader, creative writer, crossword master, candy crush savant, wordsmith and the family’s favorite comedian. She loved New York City and going to the theater. She never left a show without befriending the person next to her.

She was known for giving great advice and had a way of solving others’ complicated problems or putting a difficult situation into perspective with a mere few words. She left a lasting impression on everybody she met whether the encounter was short or long. She will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious smile, and her humorous spirit.

A memorial mass will be held on January 3rd, at 10:00am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hillside Drive, Irvine, CA in memory of Carolyn. Reception will take place at the church hall after the mass.
