  1. Carole was always kind to me as a child. I was 8 or 9 when she started my brother De Lyle. I got to go with then to a drive-in in Loves Park, IL. This was a major delight for me. I remember hugging her Fur Coat at all late many card games with our cousins in Rockford. Also she was so gracious to loan me her wedding dress ( a beautiful stunning fashion) to Bob Eastman. Carole will be in my heart with my other family and friends I have Lost. She was my favorite Sister-in-law and a friend.

  2. Carol was like a second Mother to me. My Mom and Dad were good friends with Carol and Lyle when they lived in Illinois. I always loved the food she cooked us as kids… I spent a lot of time at her house playing with Lori, and Lynn. She made me feel like I belonged. I never wanted to go home! More than once my parents had to come and get me (I hid). Then they moved to California… but I went to visit them, first in Redondo Beach, then in Garden Grove, and finally in Lake Forest. She always made me feel welcome, and I always loved her sense of humor. I will miss her, and look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

  4. Dearest Mama,

You will be in my heart forever! I remember when I was little and had trouble sleeping, you would come into my room and put on some soft music, and stroke my head till I fell asleep. I remember getting in trouble one time and being brought home, you didn’t say a word…. I went straight to my room, when you came in, I asked you to forgive me and if you will lay down with me, which you did. There are a lot of these little things that I will always remember! Love you Mama! Lisa
