CarolAnn Harker Heyden Sinclair

CarolAnn was born on October 1, 1941 In Oakland, California to Ernie and Sue Harker. She weighed 2 pounds at birth, and was a miracle baby. The Nun caring for her, Richard Marie, prayed for her everyday over her crib until she grew strong enough to come home on December 26, 1941.

CarolAnn lived all over California as her Father worked for Shell Oil.  They finally settled in Whittier, CA and CarolAnn graduated from CalHigh in 1959. CarolAnn met her future husband at CalHigh, Dennis Heyden.

They connected romantically while attending Mountain San Antonio College and were married on August 4, 1962.

They had two daughters, Heather and Wendy, and moved to Laguna Beach in 1970, and Mendocino in 1980. She was married to Dennis for 26 years before they went their separate ways.

CarolAnn was happiest in her role as Mother and held several jobs outside the home.

In 1988, she moved to Santa Rosa and began her wine concierge career.  At St Francis Winery , she met the love of her life, Andrew Sinclair, and they were married on March 8, 2008.

Carolann and Andy spent their golden years traveling and enjoying their grandchildren, Paige, Daniel, Cameron, Ian, Katrina, Shannon and Kara. They recently became Great Grandparents to Rosie and James.

CarolAnn loved playing tennis, reading and collecting books and she loved her grand dogs Abby, Cooper, and Riley.

She is survived by her husband Andrew Sinclair, daughters Heather, Wendy, Karen, Susan and their families, and her brother Steve and family.
