Carol Ann Vukich, 79, died peacefully at home in Mission Viejo, California on Friday, April 7, 2017.

Carol was born June 8, 1937 in Hollywood California and grew up in the San Fernando Valley where she attended Bellarmine – Jefferson High School and Glendale College.

She was a model and a flight attendant on Hacienda Airlines where she met her husband of 58 years Martin Vukich and they had two daughters, Dawn and Jill Vukich.

Carol had a wonderful way of making people feel loved and a sense of humor to match. She enjoyed playing golf and tennis and was passionate about animals. She was a self-made gourmet cook and a marvelous, creative entertainer. She was a loving wife to her husband whom she adored and a wonderful mother to her two daughters.

She is predeceased by her parents Lyle and Agnes Thorsness; her sister Claire Emmons; and her daughter Jill Denise Vukich. She is survived by her loving husband Martin and daughter Dawn; and her devoted sister Gail Smith as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
