Carol Falacara, beloved wife and mother, passed away on May 5, 2017 after a months-long battle with stage IV lung cancer. Carol leaves behind her husband, Gary, and a daughter, Elizabeth Lombard, along with an infant grandson, Hudson Lombard. Gary and Elizabeth are dedicating themselves to bringing her memory into Hudson’s life at every opportunity, so that he might be imbued with the love, kindness, and fullness of spirit that his grandmother embodied and would have showered on him.

Carol had a full life, spent in the company of a family that shared a deep love for one another. She adored children and was a great lover of animals, sharing her husband’s passion for all things Husky. She provided a home to a variety of dogs, cats, and hamsters, who otherwise would had been abandoned, and always comforted and lent support to those who needed it. All those who knew her will remember her spirituality and profound compassion, which shined like a bright light into their lives. It was truly a privilege to have her as a friend and companion. She was also passionate about her work in the medical field, where she formed lasting friendships with both her patients and the doctors and medical practitioners with whom she worked. Carol’s loss will leave a void in hearts of all those who knew her.
