Obituary
Carol is survived by her husband Frank; daughters Joel and Gina; grandchildren Amanda, Taylor, and Jack; father Daniel Ongais; sister Antonette; and, brother Danny Ongais. Following cremation, her husband Frank will take her home to Hawaii to be with their stillborn-son, Christopher; their ashes will then be scattered in the waters off of Frank’s hometown of Lahaina where they were married on March 5, 1966.

We are so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. So many thoughts come rushing to memory such as sitting in the front yard in chairs as we watch the neighbors move in to rice with everything to all those talks of watching our children and grandchildren grow up. We will miss you, Carol, but know that you will be waiting for us to join you so we can all sit around lazily by the pool to discuss the latest juicy gossip.

Dear Frank, Joel, and Gina; It was a true pleasure to be able to assist you all in the care of Carol, at the end of her life. I hope that in some small way I was able to provide some degree of support and/or comfort to Carol and you all. I am so sorry for your loss of Carol. Even though I was never able to truly get to know Carol, I saw what a beautiful person she was inside. I only wish that I, too, could have called her friend. I want you all to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. You all did such a beautiful job of caring for Carol and keeping her out of pain. Frank, you in particular, are one of the most giving, caring, and loving husbands a woman could have hoped for, and you did a fantastic job of caregiving.
