Carlos 'Charlie' Romero

Carlos was born ninety five years ago in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he met his wife Virginia. They moved to California during WW11 with their two children Don Romero and Charleen Romero -Thompson.

He worked at Selman Chevrolet in Orange for more than thirty-five years as the parts manager. After retirement, they moved to Casta del Sol in Mission Viejo. He loved to golf and was a member of the Casta del Sol golf club, where he made a hole-in-one on his 85th birthday! He also loved to fish on lake Mission Viejo with his wife Virginia.

Carlos and Virginia were happily married for sixty-five years and are finally reunited in Heaven. Carlos was a great father to his children, his five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren and a loving husband to Virginia. He was a quiet, gentle man and a role model to many. We will miss him.
