Obituary

In loving memory of Carlos A. Velazquez, a remarkable man whose warmth, positive attitude and long conversations touched everyone around him. He passed away peacefully in Mission Viejo on November 25, 2024.

Carlos was born on January 26, 1952 in Rivas Nicaragua, to Jose Antonio Velazquez and Elena Guerra, he was the middle of seven children, he studied Marine Biology and graduated in 1980 from the Autonomuos National University of Mexico and moved to Glendale, California for political reasons in his native country. He worked in the US as a GM mechanic, since there was nothing he could not fix, later became a GM mechanic instructor and touched the life of many young mechanic students. He will be greatly missed.
