Obituary

Carissa Cole came into our lives, we had great anticipation of what this Angel would bring to the world. She had light brown skin and big brown eyes and a dimple in her chin. When looking in her eyes we saw forever.

Carissa came with a serious and discerning nature. Either she trusted you or she did not, it was as though she could see through to one’s soul. She just knew something that others did not.

Carissa’s first smiles and laughter seemed to be exclusive to her big brother Alec. He had her heart from that first smile he pulled from her serious face.

As a child she had this beautiful golden brown hair full of curly ringlets and the voice of a munchkin from Oz. We love her!

Not long after the coming of her second brother, her nurturing side was apparent. She fell in love with this baby boy Christian and took control. She put it all together and it was her way. Carissa had this way that was straight from her heart and she did not pad her words. Her teachers always knew she would be the one to keep them on track!

Carissa was an amazing student of life. She pursued everything with a drive and passion, from school, to the waves while riding a surfboard. To call Carissa a risk taker would be an understatement. She wanted to experience everything that Earth life offered, and experience it hard. That is to say she knew that the best way to experience life is head on. She wanted to feel it all.

She attended Agoura High school where she nurtured and developed deep interpersonal relationships with her friends through her amazing empathy. At 17, her new little love Asher was born and Facebook would never be the same! There are so many pictures of her and her baby brother.

Carissa developed into a beautiful young woman with drive and ambition and the most intense poetry you would dare to read. She pushed the limits of what one could feel. Her drive landed her at Long Beach State where she was just weeks away from completing her Bachelors Degree in Communication. She achieved all this while still holding a full time job as a Server and Manager at Taste restaurant in Pacific Palisades.

What she Loved? Her Family, her friends, and her Man!
