What a wonderful experience to work with Bruce these past two decades. To watch him negotiate, write and interpret contract language and hear him tell wonderful stories in the backroom about his travels, horses, wine and his many memorable experiences. I will think of him often. My deepest sympathy to Janet and his family for their loss.

Of all the people I worked with in my many years in the San Francisco schools, I admired and envied Bruce the most.
He had all the qualities that I aspired to: brains, toughness, professionalism, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, charm, and generosity.
Having had his friendship is one of the greatest joys in my life.

Bruce is one of the finest men we have ever known…his heart, his mind, his friendship, and his sense of humor are irreplaceable. If you ever wanted to bet on a sure thing…you bet on Bruce. He was a winner in every area of life…if you were lucky enough to have your life touched by Bruce, then you were lucky enough. Bruce, you will never be forgotten. We love you and we miss you!
