Bruce N. Eaton, 74, beloved husband of Sherry Eaton, went home to be with his Lord on December 4, 2014, losing his battle with lung cancer and pneumonia.

Bruce was born October 26th, 1940 in Binghamton, NY. He is survived by his wife Sherry; son, Timothy Eaton; daughter in-law Lisa Eaton; daughter, Tammy Eaton; granddaughter Emily Eaton; his siblings, Ann Illsley (Steve) of Binghamton, NY, Anita Ketchum of Endicott, NY, Wayne Eaton of Owego, NY, Alan Eaton (Gwen) of Olathe, KS, Gary Eaton (Judy) of Binghamton, NY….many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by Willis Eaton, father; Gertrude Eaton, mother; and Roger Eaton, brother.

He graduated from Johnson City High School and attended Broome Technical College prior to joining the USMC. He served two tours in Viet Nam, obtaining Sergeant status.

He read two to three books a week, and loved crossword puzzles, playing golf, fishing in the Sierras, keeping the flower beds for his wife, walking in the woods, bird watching and anything he could do with his granddaughter.
