Obituary
Brian Douglass Baltezore
1974-2018
The family of Brian Baltezore is devastated to announce his sudden and unexpected passing. Brian’s husband, Christopher Olsen, mourns the loss of his true love and soul mate of 14 years. Chris and Brian’s shared appreciation of global culture took them on many trips around the world and was a defining feature of the life they built together. Brian grew up in the Bay Area, attended college at Syracuse University, and obtained his MBA from Wake Forest. Most recently he worked as a product manager at Epson in Long Beach. Brian gave fully of himself to those he loved and put others’ needs before his own. Brian was preceded in death by his father Bill and is survived by his husband Chris, mother Melanie, siblings Brady, Renee and Veronica, and many other loved ones. Remembrances are being held privately in the Bay Area with immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Brian’s name to Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This was his favorite place in all his global travels as they rescue previously-abused elephants in Southeast Asia and provide them with a lifetime of freedom in a beautiful sanctuary. This saddens me and Steve greatly. It seems like just yesterday that we first met Brian. That was in 2004. He is in our prayers, as are you, and his family.

Brian,
I’m surprised by the news of your death. I came across you photo, and decided to look you up after all these years. We knew each other many, many years ago when we lived in DC for a short while. Brian, I trust you had a great life. My condolences to you loved ones – you died FAR too young.
