Obituary

Brett Thomas Foster, 38, of Anaheim Hills, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, unexpectedly passed away on June 10, 2015. Brett was born March 14, 1977 in Concord, California.

Brett grew up in Riverside, California playing baseball and soccer, and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1995 where he excelled in football. Brett attended USC, attaining a Bachelor’s degree and a MBA. Brett just recently finished law school and was preparing to take the California State Bar Exam in July. Brett worked as a commercial real estate broker for approximately 15 years. He also volunteered his time at the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino and served as an intern at the San Bernardino District Attorney’s office. Brett enjoyed traveling, learning and spending time with his family and friends.

Brett is survived by his father, Hon. Bryan F. Foster; his mother, Nancy Foster; his brothers, Scott Foster and Keith Foster; sister-in-law Christina Foster; his niece Mikaela Foster and nephew Nathan Foster; and many extended family members and close friends. Brett built his life around making others happy. His infectious personality and laughter will always be missed.

On Thursday, June 18 there will be a viewing at 6 pm and a Rosary and Vigil at 7pm at O’Connor Mortuary which is located at 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills, CA 92653.

On Friday, June 19, there will be a funeral service at 10 am at the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 31520 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675. Following the funeral there will be a celebration of life.

  5. There are really no words of comfort that can be said at this most difficult time, however we are praying for Faith to uphold you and Loving Memories to carry you through. We will always remember Brett’s goofy grin and affable personality from his early teenage years.
