Obituary

Brent Thomas Chipperfield was born February 15, 1979 in Newport Beach, CA, and he died on Monday, June 12, 2006 in Ensenada, Mexico. Brent is survived by his devoted mother, Bobbie Chipperfield; beloved father, Robert Chipperfield; loving grandmother, Katherine Smith; loving brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Elise Miller; loving brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kristi Miller; loving brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Samantha Chipperfield; loving sister, Alison Miller; and his nephews, Anthony, Alex and Austin Miller.

Brent grew up in Lake Forest where he attended Aliso Elementary School, Serrano Junior High and El Toro High School. Brent number 23 started at cornerback and was a two-year letterman on the El Toro Varsity Football Team. He helped his team win CIF in 1995 as well as being an All League selection at his position.

After graduating from El Toro, Brent attended Saddleback College and then transferred to California State Fullerton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2001. After graduating, Brent got his first job with GreenPoint Mortgage in Santa Ana as a Broker Service Representative. Brent’s intelligence, work ethic, charm and quick wit helped him climb quickly to an Area Manager within the company in four years. Recently he was in the top one percent of his peers in sales and in the running for President’s Club.

Brent was always the life of the party, made many friends wherever he was and could light up a room with his wonderful smile. We are grateful for the memories, laughter and love we all shared for Brent’s 27 years.

  3. With my deepest sympathy, my prayers goes out to the family. He was a very bright young man I met through my industry. He will be missed.

  4. You were the best friend a guy could have. We always had the best of times together no matter what we were doing. We had so many things we wanted to do and accomplish. I feel so blessed to have you and your family in my life. I will carry you with me forever. I’ll see you later bud.

    Brent and Family,

The loss amongst the El Toro Family is immense. I knew Brent from Serrano Junior High onward, and I immediately recognized his athletic talent, competitiveness, and charisma. While I haven’t been in touch since high school, I have heard of his accomplishments and am happy that others have experienced the same Brent that I have known and respected.

    God Bless, Bobby Miske
