Brent Thomas Chipperfield was born February 15, 1979 in Newport Beach, CA, and he died on Monday, June 12, 2006 in Ensenada, Mexico. Brent is survived by his devoted mother, Bobbie Chipperfield; beloved father, Robert Chipperfield; loving grandmother, Katherine Smith; loving brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Elise Miller; loving brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kristi Miller; loving brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Samantha Chipperfield; loving sister, Alison Miller; and his nephews, Anthony, Alex and Austin Miller.

Brent grew up in Lake Forest where he attended Aliso Elementary School, Serrano Junior High and El Toro High School. Brent number 23 started at cornerback and was a two-year letterman on the El Toro Varsity Football Team. He helped his team win CIF in 1995 as well as being an All League selection at his position.

After graduating from El Toro, Brent attended Saddleback College and then transferred to California State Fullerton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2001. After graduating, Brent got his first job with GreenPoint Mortgage in Santa Ana as a Broker Service Representative. Brent’s intelligence, work ethic, charm and quick wit helped him climb quickly to an Area Manager within the company in four years. Recently he was in the top one percent of his peers in sales and in the running for President’s Club.

Brent was always the life of the party, made many friends wherever he was and could light up a room with his wonderful smile. We are grateful for the memories, laughter and love we all shared for Brent’s 27 years.

  1. I didn’t know Brent as well as most of my other co-workers, but during the past week I’ve heard so many nice things about him, and truly regret not knowing him better. My prayers are with his friends and family at this time.

  2. My heart breaks at the thought of Brent not being able to continue the beautiful life that he lead. I will cherish the times I had with him. You always knew if he was with you then it was going to be a time full of laughs. Brent was a very accomplished young man. I learned a lot sitting next to him in the office. My heart goes out to his family. I cant imagine what you are going through. Brent will always be remembered with the highest respect and the thought of him will always bring a smile to my face.

I knew Brent for only a short period of time. But in that time I knew him to be a kindhearted, genuine, and caring person. Always putting others before himself and never hesitating to help those he cared for, Brent proved to be a special and rare breed of man. You will be greatly missed my friend.

  5. Brent & family,

We shared some of the greatest times of our lives together and I am forever grateful for each moment we had together. I will never forget our last day on the beach together, laughing, throwing a football and celebrating my next step in life… marriage. I only wish I could of told you how much I cherrished our friendship and how much you and your family has meant to me over the years. I love you Brent and I know you have heard my prayers and know how I feel. I am glad you are in a better place and I can’t wait to see you again.

    Love,

    Jeff Postlmayr
