Obituary

Brady Eric Kellogg passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 5, 2013. He was 46 years old and lived in Rancho Santa Margarita with his loving wife of 4 years, Cheryl Lynn Kellogg, MD. He was born on June 23, 1967 in Santa Monica, CA. Survived by parents Roy and Sue Kellogg of Lake Elsinore, CA; sister, Laurel Kellogg of Huntington Beach; brother Chris (Jenny) Kellogg of Anaheim; and sister Cheryl (Marc) Panzella of Huntington Beach. Also survived by nieces Karoline Kellogg and Sophia Panzella and nephews, Brenden Kellogg and Nicolas Panzella, plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A native southern Californian, he was a graduate of La Quinta High School, class of 1985 in Westminster. He pursued a career in Fire Sciences becoming accredited as an Emergency Medical Technician and later attending the Fire Academy because of his enduring compassion and capability to help his fellow men and women. While completing his Associates Degree in Environmental Sciences, he also worked as an Environmental Consultant for over 18 years.

Academically gifted, he was indoctrined into the respected and well known Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Beta Epsilon Beta Chapter in 2011.

He was an avid sports fan and played AYSO soccer, little league baseball, and ice hockey in Garden Grove and Anaheim. An outstanding and accomplished athlete he excelled in all sports including, roller hockey, and soccer where he traveled to Canada, Mexico, England and Scotland. His greatest love was ice hockey which he began playing at age 7 and continued throughout his adult life, consistently winning Adult All Star Most Valuable Player. Multi-talented, he was the Gold Medal Champion of Tae Kwon Do in Orange County.

He lived in Westchester for 3 years, Westminster for 25 years, Trabuco Canyon for 10 years and Rancho Santa Margarita for 8 years.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy’s Church, 29102 Crown Valley in Laguna Niguel on July 19, 2013 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd., Lake Forest, CA.

There will also be an informal and casual get together at Brady and Cheryl’s house the same day from 5:30-7:30. The address is 5 Calle Horca, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688.

If you would like to bring any flowers, please pick them from your garden; these are the most special. Brady loved to garden, and would love this personal touch. Thank you all for your love, prayers and condolences.
