    To the Volk family,
I worked with Bob at Powerwave for almost five years. Bob was a hard worker and took his job very seriously. Bob loved his wife and kids alot, he was always talking about them. Bob will be missed by all, but never forgotten. I called Bob HOF, because of his baseball days. HOF means “Hall of Famer”, and that’s what Bob will be forever in my mind.
    God bless and take care.

  2. Alma, Matt, Jessi and David,

I don’t have words to describe how sorry we are for your loss, all we can say is that we are here for you.

    I Do Believe
    by Jennifer Janiszewski

There is nothing I can do,
    to make him come back
There are no words I can say,
that can replace the words you long to hear
There are no answer’s I can give,
    that will satisfy your questions
There is not another soul I can introduce you to that will ever replace his
And, there is no love I can offer that will ever replace the love you shared
I can not promise your broken heart will ever be complete
I will not say it could have been worse
I will not deny it was a tragedy
I will not lie and tell you he will come back
    He never really left
I do promise he hears you when you speak
I will say he loves you no matter the distance
I will not deny he is in a better place
And, I will not lie; he is waiting to greet you someday
He is every you step you take
He is in everything you do
He is the air you breathe
He is every beat of your heart
” He is like the wind. You can not see him…but you will always feel him”

  3. Cheryl and Family,
Although under unfortunate circumstances, I was so touched by your warm sentiments regarding my father. Experiencing this kind of grief is more difficult than I could have possibly imagined, but we must try to focus on healing and carrying those happy memories with us in our hearts. My prayers are with you as well.

    Sincerely,
    Kathy

  4. The Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles baseball team for 2006 is honoring Bob by displaying a sticker on the back of all players’ helmets for the rest of the season. The sticker has #15, Bob’s number when he played baseball as an ORU Titan.

  5. Evelyn says:

I will miss Bob. He was one of the first people who helped me when I started here at Powerwave and was always willing to help or explain. He was a first class salesman with the Girl Scout Cookies. I was one of his biggest customers. My prayers are with you.

    Love to you all
    Evelyn
