Blanche Franklin Chilcote

January 27, 1926 – March 29, 2019

Blanche Chilcote, age 93, passed away peacefully in her home at The Covington in Aliso Viejo. She was born Blanche Elizabeth Franklin in Hardin, Montana. Blanche attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana where she met her future husband, Wilbur B. Chilcote (Bill). Blanche and Bill lived briefly in Chicago then settled in Orange County, California. Here they raised their family and established their business – Calmont Wire and Cable. Bill and Blanche were active and supported Kiwanis International, Panamerican Institute, 4-H Youth Club, Ocean Institute and AOII. Bill passed away in 1998. Blanche is survived by her four children, Salvador (Garibay), Brad, Bette (Burke) and Bobbe (Monteleone), eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at The Covington, #3 Pursuit, Aliso Viejo, Ca. on April 27th at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ocean Institute, Alpha Omicron Pi or Panamerican Institute. Our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful caregivers and hospice nurses. Blanche’s family and friends will forever miss her beautiful smile, generous spirit and loving heart.
